I was fortunate enough to chat with Brian O’Kelley for my podcast recently. We covered, what is likely the biggest challenge we need solutions from our generation for, sustainability.
We’ve always been taught to do our part for the environment through education and mainstream media - turning lights off if you’re not using them, recycling correctly, reducing flights/car journeys etc.
But what about the ad industry? What’s our impact on the environment? First, to understand the impact we need to measure it (that’s what Brian’s company Scope3 does) and second, we need to take action.
Our company TPA Digital are fortunate enough to work alongside some of the world’s biggest brands directly, and we are seeing them and their entire supply chain dive into greater detail with sustainability initiatives over the past 12-18 months (SPO, Creative Sizes, Fonts used, Supplier education etc.). The industry is no longer paying lip service, they’re taking action. This isn’t just headlines this is change.
